"Music is universal, it cuts across borders, languages and cultures and can be used in so many ways to help get the message across that human trafficking must end!"
We are taking on board an idea from AAI Trustee John Wearne to run a campaign as part of a new drive to even more success and growth in 2012, so we have introduced Musicians Against Trafficking.
Act Against Injustice are big on music, you might have guessed, as our roots were originally as a music download website and we have not forgotten our background, just improved on it.
We love music so what better thing to use to push the charity forward through 2012.
We are also running even more concerts and music events locally and possibly one or two Internationally throughout 2012 and 2013 onwards, and as our CEO is a musician himself, we feel that this a good route to do down because of Robert Robinson's knowledge of the local music industry we can be even more effective in what we do.
If you are in a band or a musician, or even support crew/ roadie, there are many things that you can do:
- Help us by volunteering your services to perform and help AAI to create awareness and funding through your performances and network.
- Join Business Against Trafficking for networking with like minded individuals who fight against trafficking and increase your own operational area through this networking.
- Donate part of your earnings from record sales or concert fees to AAI.
- Donate a track or album to AAI and we can host your music on our site to gain donations for AAI. All proceeds to charity.
- Join the AAI Record Label (more on this through 2012). We can promote you wherever we go.
- Perform with us on our awareness/music tours throughout the UK and Internationally. If you are a local musician then step forward we would be interested in hearing from you.
- Organise a Musicians Against Trafficking event yourself in your College, Church or social club and ask for part of the profit, or an offering, to be taken and forwarded to AAI. We will help you with this.
- Include us in all your promotions and publications and help us tell people about what goes on to increase the awareness of human trafficking and grooming.
- Place an advertisement for Act Against Injustice in your shop, college or Church telling people all about fighting child trafficking. We can supply you with specific posters.

There is so much you can use your musical talents for to help us.
