Contact usAct Against Injustice are a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) that focus on three key areas:
Awareness of Child-Trafficking - Advancement of Education - Injustice (directly surrounding children).
Act Against Injustice was initially called musicdownloadrevolution and started off as a joint music download site and prayer circle for Madeleine McCann (the youngster that went missing back in May 2007), but the name never really hit home with people, so it was decided that a more specific name was needed to encompass all of the work.
The work has since expanded and in 2010 Charity status was achieved and now AAI focuses on dedicated work on the International Anti-Trafficking scene; an International prayer circle for all missing, abused and networked children; and also work for some of the poorest Children on the planet and other support services.
AAI have a strong International network that includes top professionals in their field and also some fantastic links with similar organisations.
The NGO gained charity status in September 2010 and, in one year, has grown to 23 people within, all working hard behind the scenes to enable real and effective change in the lives of persecuted and oppressed children.
Charity Status
The purposes of the charity are:
1. The promotion of the care of protection of children and young persons by:
(a) raising awareness of child trafficking and missing children amongst the public, providers of childrens' services and education and child care professionals;
(b) assisting in the tracking and locating of children and missing young persons;
2. The relief of financial hardship, in particular of children, by the provision of goods and services which they could not otherwise afford.
3. The advancement of the Christian religion.
The Mission
Act Against Injustice
Are an awareness group and campaign against injustice, directly where Children are concerned and work closely with law enforcement agencies and Child Protection Organisations worldwide within the work.
The Non-Government Organisation’s mission is to work with Organisations, Community groups and individuals to counter trafficking in the UK and Internationally.
