AAI directors

CEO - Robert Robinson Robert Robinson

In 1979 Robert left school with no qualifications. He became a Christian later that year and In 1998 he gained his Degree in Health studies/ Health Promotion with a B.A (hons) 2:2.

Robert has seen the best sides of the Christian faith; and has also seen those supposedly off the Christian faith abuse and hurt people and this is the reason that he does not talk of his faith, but prefers to show and lead by example and live life according to the way a Christian should live his life.

As CEO Robert heads AAI and has responsibilities for the fund-raising side of the organization as well as the UK operational side of the NGO and as CEO takes the final decisions in all areas. He is also an electroacoustic singer songwriter and leads praise and worship. Unto the Lamb is his latest music album.

Roberts hobbies include music, street singing and gym work.

 

Trustee - Gerard Leo

Gerard came on board as a trustee in Feb 2011.

 

Executive Director - John Wearne  John Wearne

John became a Christian in 1994 and regularly attends St Paul's Church, Accrington. As well as his incredible passion for the rights and welfare of children, John has deep Christian convictions, and, along with Nina J, and close-friend Dr. Reina Michaelson, was one of the founders of the Madeleine Prayer Circle, and he is also joint founder, with Robert, of Act Against Injustice.

In 2008 John graduated in hons in Applied Computing and is an accomplished Web designer and SEO specialist. Since 2008 John has focused on the anti-trafficking and security operations side of the NGO and is very much at the core with International operations.

John is a talented keynote motivational Christian speaker and lectures regularly throughout the UK and Internationally on topics such as grooming and child-trafficking.

Johns hobbies include Martial Arts, running, gaming and skiing.
