Missing Children

Every year the Act Against Injustice support team review what is happening and who is missing and then we decide on 2-3 projects for that year.

The projects consist of 6-8 weeks of free work, plus ongoing work, from AAI for Parents of missing children; these include e-mail campaigns, IT work, professionally designed poster templates for families to use for their campaigns.

Act Against Injustice as an NGO are able to back campaigns with our weight in Parliament and at an International level. We are able to give exposure to children who are 'missing' and willing to help out in campaigns to distribute posters, brochures, public speaking, etc.

AAI are also not bound by International borders and we are able to reach out to hundreds of thousands through our contacts from the Madeleine Prayer Circle campaigns and through the Church and our Partners.

In 2009 we led the Prayer service at the National missing Children's day at Leicester Cathedral and we also worked with Kevin Gosden and his family in the search for their son Andrew; this year, along with other NGO's we have publicised the successful search for missing 6 year old Andrew Thompson and we also publicised and supported the cases of numerous other missing / abducted children.

Alongside all this work we have developed our First Alert system, which in 2010 successfully alerted the relevant authorites in the search for the paedophile Dennis Borskill. Through our advise we helped PPU, UK Police force and Interpol locate and capture this paedophile in Holland and we currently work closely with the PPU, Police force and other NGO's within this area on an ongoing basis.

Please contact us for more details of our work.
